This article focuses on the exploration of behavioural deficits that are manifested by traditional male circumcision (TMC) initiates contemporary epoch. A qualitative research approach amid an exploratory and descriptive design followed interpretivism paradigm was applied. purposive sampling technique non-probability method used. The in-depth interviews focus group discussions were used as data collection methods. Cala Mdantsane selected domains because their involvement in practice TMC. Thematic analysis effected through coding to analyse data. findings revealed TMC embrace negative teachings initiation school fails meet societal moral ethical expectations, such preponderance violence abuse alcohol. It also showed non-compliance code cultural goalposts initiates. Furthermore, this study recommends for policies ensure rite achieves its sociocultural objective training nurses surgeons astutely manage rite.
